Will it fit in my car?
Yes. Collapsed to 19.5", it slides under most car and truck seats or into a trunk organizer, so it's always there in a winter emergency.
Is it strong enough for heavy, wet snow?
Yes. The aluminum scoop and shaft are rigid enough for packed and wet snow, and the D-grip gives you leverage to lift and throw it.
Can I carry it while snowshoeing or hiking?
Yes. At 1.1 lb it barely registers in a pack. Collapse it and strap it on, or slip it into a snowshoe bag.
Is it good for ice fishing?
Yes. It's handy for clearing snow off the ice, banking snow around your shelter and keeping your holes open.
How do the length settings work?
The shaft has three fixed, locking positions: 19.5", 27" and 33". Use the short setting in tight spots and the full 33" when you have a lot of snow to move.
